Mike Rovatsos

Mike is a rock/pop musician and producer but has completely got the jazz bug since his start at the station in 2005. He works in Member Services, is our Production Director and also manages the website and app. He started working in radio when he was just out of high school (Long Island, NY). After a decade of working for various major media corporations in NYC, Mike felt compelled to leave it all, head out west and do what he loves the most; working with Jazz88 members and producing jazz radio programs and spots. He loves Monk and Ella and concurs that Buddy Rich is (was) the Best Drummer in the World!
