 Jazz Live is happening TONIGHT. The SOLD OUT Show will feature the return of pianist John Beasley (in a quartet setting) to the Saville stage. The great reedman Bennie Maupin will be joining him as well as Gene Coye (drums) and Ben Shepherd (bass). Please pick up your tickets no later thatn 7:30pm as they will be released to the public after that time. | Jazz 88.3 is proud to support the inaugural Logan Heights Community Development Corporation Charity Golf Classic happening Monday, June 10th (1PM Shotgun Start) at Riverwalk Golf Club (150 Fashion Valley Rd, San Diego, CA 92108). Logan Heights CDC's mission is to strengthen residents and businesses in Greater Logan Heights neighborhoods through community empowerment, education, economic growth, and housing development. All proceeds raised from the golf classic will go directly to the Future Achievers Preschool, who's mission is to offer superb education to children, while fostering each one’s creative, intellectual, social, physical, and moral growth in a STEAM academic-rich atmosphere. | Jazz 88.3 is pleased to partner with Jazz At the Ballroom as they celebrate Nat “King” Cole's Centennial. Freddy Cole will honor his late brother at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, on Sunday, June 2 (3-6PM). The event will pair the Freddy Cole Quartet’s unforgettable jazz standards with complimentary wine from award-winning Oceano Wines and a custom menu of gourmet bites (for purchase) prepared by The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe’s Executive Chef, Chris House, and his culinary team.
