The Gerry Mulligan Sextet's performance December 14, 1954 at San Diego's Hoover High School will be celebrated with a concert as part of the San Diego Jazz Heritage Series presented by KSDS-FM, Jazz 88.3 on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 7:30pm in that very same high school auditorium. Jazz 88.3 program director, station manager, and Los Angeles Jazz Institute director Ken Poston talks about the ensemble that become one of Mulligan's favorite with Inside Art (Sundays, 7-7:30pm PT) host Dave Drexler.
