 Jazz 88.3's annual Summertime Jazz Night Rooftop Concert Series returns to the stunning Westgate Hotel, Friday, September 2nd ( 6-9PM) with T he Latin Side of Vince Guaraldi, featuring Larry Vuckovich! Pianist Larry Vuckovich was Vince Guraldi’s only student and played in Vince’s two-piano group “Powder Keg”. This program features the Latin works of Vince Guaraldi performed by a stellar quintet including guitarist Josh Workman, who captures the excitement of Vince’s collaborations with Brazilian guitarist Bola Sete. The Quintet includes: Josh Workman on guitar and John Santos on percussion. While you're there, you'll not only enjoy live Jazz, but also an array of Latin-inspired fare and cocktails. In addition, Chris Springer, host of Jazz 88.3's Latin Grooves will be your host! So mark your calendars and plan to usher in summer with your favorite jazz and blues radio station!
