Sundays have a new look on KSDS beginning in July. And, it's more than just this graphic.

Let Larry Murry ease you into your Sunday morning with three hours of straight-ahead jazz, beginning at 7 AMKenny Washington’s Sepia Voices then glide you through brunch at 10 AM, followed by two hours of Loren Schoenberg’s Jazz Potpourri, beginning at Noon. By 2 PM, it's time for something and someone new: Chuck Granata, a celebrated authority on Frank Sinatra, will bring you a new weekly show called "Sinatra Standard Time." Then, at 4PM Raul Rico Jr. gets back to negocios with two hours of Jazz Latino, while Dave Drexler will continue to round out the late afternoon with Inside Art at 6PM.  At 6:30PM, Matt Silver takes a sledge hammer to your preconceived notions of what jazz is right now, with "Breaking Jazz." And beginning at 8pm, first Chad Fox, then Miff Mole bring you all the free jazz and avant garde music that's too transgressive to talk about during daylight hours, with "Loosely Knit" and "Free Time," respectively. At 11PM Louie Valenzuela, the ringmaster of San Diego's jazz jam scene, brings you to the midnight hour with Jazz Night San Diego, the latest and best from the many live and local performances he hosts weekly.

Sundays on KSDS-FM: new voices, new sounds, continued excellence in Sunday evening jazz programming. More information and the program schedule can be found at Jazz88.org/schedule.
