Ken Poston began his career as an archivist in the Richard Wright Jazz Library at the University of Kansas and also served as Jazz Program Director for KJHK Radio. In 1987, he relocated to Los Angeles and joined nationally recognized KLON (now KKJZ) as the Director of Concert Productions. Ken is the Founder and Director of The Los Angeles Jazz Institute, one of the foremost jazz organizations in the world. It's primary mission is the operation of a major jazz archive and research facility augmented with many outreach programs that enhance cultural awareness in southern California. Ken's commitment to the art form is very strong and he is extremely excited to be at helm of KSDS.
